Continuing in the same direction as the previous post, a group from Singapore has now demonstrated growth of tungsten disulfide and diselenide mono-layer crystals. Their CVD process involves a halide assist, leading to much lower deposition temperatures than might otherwise be expected. The authors report full experimental details, and show mono-layer crystals up to 150 microns in diameter.
